WATERPROOF! SteelBlue footwear uses a range of soft, durable, supple high quality waterproof leathers that conform to the shape of the foot
quickly. These New Zealand leathers provide better fitting footwear which normally does not require "breaking in".
UPPER LININGS - All Steel Blue styles have internal upper linings that are made from
a variety of high quality materials that quickly wick perspiration away from the foot leaving the skin cool and dry.
Materials selected are soft and smooth to protect the skin of the foot from chaffing and blistering.
And - if you want all the advantages of the SteelBlue boot but prefer

Non metal composite materials such as that used in SteelBlue's
Hi-PA toe caps do not have the same cut and penetration resistance as steel safety toe caps and should not be used around
powered cutting or grinding devices or nail guns. It should be noted there is a special safety footwear standard for
chainsaw boots. While Hi-PA footwear does not pass this chainsaw standard neither do normal steel toe cap boots.

The Hobart (steel
toe cap standard - optional regular toecap)
The Hobart is an excellent elastic sided boot from SteelBlue.
It is available in soft, durable, quality leather in dark (winter) brown waxy
leather, wheat nubuck or black waxy leather.
It features SteelBlue's highly advanced TCT (Trisole Comfort
Technology) slip resistant TPU sole which as well as being supremely comfortable can handle surface heat to 130
deg C (266 F) and resist oils and acids.
Steel toe caps are standard but the Hobart can
be made without them in a non-safety version on request (this will usually cause a delay in supplying
the boots as they will be made specially). SteelBlue steel toe caps all comply with the latest US ASTM F2413-05 standards which replaced the previous
ANSI Z41 as well as Australian, New Zealand and Euro standards.
The Hobart looks terrific with any uniform and makes
