REGARDING STEEL TOE CAP BOOTS AND 'SAFETY' ITEMS:
The Blundstone boots sold on this site are designed for the Australian
domestic market. Different specifications and requirements for 'safety' items exist in different countries. Neither
the manufacturers nor myself warrant that any Blundstone product that may be sold as 'safety' footwear within Australia is
compliant with any relevant safety accreditations or otherwise. I do not sell any Blundstone product for use outside
Australia as a 'safety' item and no Blundstone products sold here should be used for that purpose. Neither I nor the
manufacturers provide any warranties in respect of the use of Blundstone products I sell overseas for safety purposes.
Similar advice applies to Rossi steel capped boots.
Non metal composite materials such as that used in SteelBlue's Hi-PA non metallic
toe caps do not have the same cut and penetration resistance as steel safety toe caps and should not be used around powered
cutting or grinding devices or nail guns. It should be noted there is a
special safety footwear standard for chainsaw boots. While Hi-PA footwear does not pass this chainsaw standard neither do normal steel
toe cap boots.
