as well as Mineral and Organic Oils.
The
Classic Blundstone Boot has been improved to include new easy on and off pull-loops, patented SPS shock absorbing system,
full length comfort foot bed, and a molded, reinforced heel. The sole is made of very hard wearing but light weight dual density
oil and acid resistant polyurethane which is direct injection molded to completely bond the sole and upper together for structural
strength and long life.
The 500 is a very dark brown called 'Stout Brown' because it's as dark as Stout Beer
(like Irish Guinness). However, please note that due to variations in leather supplies this color can vary in shade
quite considerably from something close to 'Chestnut' through to near black. The exact shade of brown cannot be guaranteed
in advance.
(Please
note that Blundstone 500 series boots do not use fully water proofed leather. If you require this feature I suggest the
200 series.
The 500 and 510 feature weather resistant oil tanned leather which will keep rain at bay better than ordinary untreated leather
but not as well as the 200.)
